Preventing Electrical Injurys
Many people and little kids have been getting injured and dying because they have been playing around with plugs and playing near ovens.
…..What should they have done?
..Firstly, there should be an adult supervising a child who is playing near or close to an electrical system so that they won’t get electrocuted. There is a lot of kids that think lights can not electrocute people then they see for themselves if it does and they get electrocuted.
Secondly, remember when you go to a gas station always turn off your mobile phones because the engine can send a spark to your phone that can travel to the fuel and can explode your car. There have been silly people turning on their mobile phones on at the gas station and do not care if their car explodes.
Lastly, remember to turn off the switch when you leave the house or take the plug out before it starts a fire or lose power. Remember stay away from electricity.

Keeping Our Bodies In Shape.
Good personal hygiene is one of the most effective ways to protect ourselves and other from illness.
Chew healthy foods and drink the right liquids to help your brain and body grow. When we are taking care of our bodies our body parts can be cleaned out from all of the junk food and the bacteria. Unhealthy food and unfit people can suffer from pain and be sick or die. When we all eat the right foods we don't only feel better and have more energy but we provide our bodies with nutrition and vitamins.
Without eating and drinking fruits, vegetables and water we can get dangerous diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and most of all, a STROKE.
One way to clean your body is to always have a shower, wash hands, clean nails and especially brushing our teeth.
Exercising is a very important active sport that the All Blacks do to be in the team such as Charles Piutau, Israel dagg and Kieran Read. They do a lot of practice to help their bodies grow. My advice for everyone who is eating bad foods and who is not fit should experience being healthy and strong.
That is all the information about Keeping Healthy. And remember if you wants to play for the All Blacks you have to be healthy and fit.

The two visitors were Petia and Caroline. They talked about You Turn. Caroline said that experience in education will affect your future and we can and should push ourselves to learn, so that we can plan our dream. Later on Petia chose a year 7 person, Aydrian to demonstrate positive ways to react to bullying. Lastly Petia sketched Wonder Woman and everyone was blown away by his skills.

BROKEN BONES... KA POW! OUCH
BROKEN BONES…KA POW! OUCH
An accident that I don’t want to remember …
Finally I get to explain what happened a year ago ...,
On one sunny day I was riding my skateboard down the road enjoying myself when I saw a rock rolling towards me. I lost my balance, turned left and hit the curve with a huge smash and collapsed on the ground. Then I saw a deep cut which was bleeding like a fountain and saw my flesh. EWW!
I got up quickly as I could limping like nothing happened so no one could see me crash, but a few people who I saw giggling at me were my cousins. I could see them in fits of laughter through the window saying, ”SHAME... PLEASE DO IT AGAIN.” I was really embarrassed and angry.
From that day on I hated skateboarding and I will never ever ride a skateboard in my whole life! So I threw my skateboard away because it reminds me of my embarrassing accident.

The Word Spreads!
We walked up to Room 8a and saw two special people who could change our personalities. The man's name is Petia who came to talk about our negative issues and to talk about helping other people. I have learnt a lot of things about feelings and how people think of us, and how negative words can hurt people in many ways. In the end Petia picked one of his favourite superheroes “Iron Man” to sketch because he has a feeling that superheroes are his role models.
